Central and South Coast
From Quang Ngai to the dunes of Mui Ne, Vietnam's central-south coast blends pristine beaches, remnants of the Champa kingdom, and traditional fishing villages.
This region of Vietnam comprises the coastal provinces of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan. It is home to some of Vietnam's finest beaches, and undoubtedly the country's largest beach resort destinations, with Nha Trang, Mui Ne and Phan Tiet leading the way. Among the region's other treasures are the remains of ancient Cham sites that dot the coastline: Cha Ban, Po Nagar, Po Klong Garai… extending into Binh Thuan province, one of Vietnam's most arid regions where long stretches of white sand dunes rise dramatically against the sky.
