How to choose your Vietnam circuit?

Vietnam's elongated shape requires choices based on available time. In 13 to 17 days, we recommend either the north (Hanoi, Halong, Sapa or Ha Giang, Ninh Binh), or a north-central combination with Hoi An. In 18 days and more, the classic north-central-south itinerary becomes comfortable, with 2 to 3 night stays without rushing and an internal flight between Hanoi and Da Nang to save time.

Three weeks allow you to add a motorbike loop in the northeast mountains, two nights in the Mekong Delta beyond a simple excursion, and three beach days in Con Dao or Phu Quoc at the end of your trip.

Different types of circuits

Our cultural circuits focus on Hué's imperial history, the ethnic minority villages of the north, the colonial architecture of Hanoi and Saigon, and Vietnamese cuisine with cooking classes in Hoi An. Our adventure circuits include 2 to 4-day treks in the Sapa or Pu Luong region, kayaking in Lan Ha Bay, and the Ha Giang motorbike loop for experienced travelers.

Our family circuits alternate gentle activities (cycling through the Mai Chau countryside, water puppets in Hanoi, lantern workshops in Hoi An) and rest time, with accommodations suited to children.

What is the best season?

March-April and October-November remain the most versatile windows for a north-south circuit, with temperatures of 22 to 30°C and little rain over most of the route. Winter (December-February) offers a misty and cool north (10-18°C in Hanoi) but perfect conditions in the south for Phu Quoc and the Mekong. Summer (June-August) is hot and humid everywhere, with heavy rain in the south and typhoon risks in the central region from September. Tet (late January or February) should be avoided or planned well in advance.
